Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies may originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies among websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various purposes. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies can be used to evaluate user behavior or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this Privacy Policy.

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

5. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Data stored by us for other purposes remain unaffected by this.

After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider on a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future correspondence. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage on the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

6. Google services

We use the services of Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google") on our website.

When using the Google services mentioned below, the data collected in this context is generally transmitted to a server in the USA.

Data is collected and stored in accordance with Section 25 (1) TTDSG and the subsequent data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR only on the basis of your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future in the consent settings at the bottom of our website.

You can find more information on the processing of your data in the following paragraphs. You can find further information on the processing of your data by Google in Google's data protection information at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to integrate other services, such as Google Analytics. The Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookies, but Google receives your IP address when you use it.

Google Analytics

We use the web analysis service Google Analytics. Google collects information on our behalf about the use of our website in order to evaluate it, to compile reports on the activities among this website and to provide us with other services related to the use of this website. For these purposes, Google sets cookies on our website, which are stored on your device.

The following data is processed as part of Google Analytics: IP address and geographical location, browser and device information and the referrer URL. Furthermore, information on the usage behavior of our visitors on the website is recorded. Google creates pseudonymous user profiles. The data collected is stored for 14 months.

In the case of access originating from the EU, IP address data is only used to derive location data and then deleted immediately. They are not logged, are not accessible and are not used for other applications. In Google Analytics 4, all data from devices located in the EU (based on the geographical location according to the IP address) is collected via domains and servers in the EU before the traffic is forwarded to Analytics servers for processing. Google's analytics servers are located in the USA.

YouTube

We have integrated YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on http://www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website.

The videos are integrated in such a way that data about you as a user is only transmitted to Google when you play the videos. We have no influence on the data transfer to Google that then takes place. In this context, Google sets cookies that are stored on your end device and saves information in web storage.

When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website and data about your location (GPS data), IP address and devices used, including information about objects in the vicinity of your device, such as Wi-Fi access points, radio masts and Bluetooth-enabled devices, as well as sensor data from your device (see Google's data protection information). This happens regardless of whether you are logged in to Google or YouTube. However, if you are logged in, your data may be assigned to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating a video. However, Google also stores the data regardless of whether you have a user account with Google, creates user profiles and analyzes them. You can opt out of personalized advertising at https://myadcenter.google.com/.

Google Fonts (local hosting)

This site uses so-called Google Fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. Google Fonts are installed locally. There is no connection to Google servers.

You can find more information about Google Fonts at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

7. Social media presences

We have a presence among social networks and platforms so that we can also communicate with you there and inform you about our services.

We would like to point out that your data may be processed outside the European Union and that the data is generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. Usage profiles can be created from the usage behavior and resulting interests of the users. These usage profiles can in turn be used, for example, to place advertisements among and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to the interests of the users. For this purpose, cookies may be stored on the users' computers, in which the usage behavior and interests of the users are stored. Other data may also be stored in these user profiles, especially if the users are members of the respective platforms and are logged in to them.

On our website, we only link to our company profiles on the respective social networks. Please note, however, that when you click on a link to the social networks, data is transferred to their servers. If you are logged in to the respective social network with your user name and password at this time, the information that you have visited our company profile on the respective social network from our website will be transmitted there and the respective provider can save this information in your user account.

In principle, we have no significant influence on the data processing of social networks. However, we receive statistics from the providers about the use of and visits to our company profiles in the social networks (e.g. information about the number of views, interactions such as likes and comments as well as summarized demographic and other information or statistics). You can find more information on the data used by the providers in the providers' data protection notices linked below.

If we receive your personal data as part of our social media presence (e.g. as part of a message), you are entitled to the rights mentioned above in this data protection information. You can address your inquiries regarding data processing in the context of our company profiles to us using the contact details above.

Furthermore, if you wish to assert rights against the provider of the social network, the easiest way to do so is to contact the respective provider directly. The provider knows both the details of the technical operation of the platform and the associated data processing as well as the concrete purposes of the data processing. The contact details can be found in the data protection information linked below. We are also happy to support you in asserting your rights, insofar as this is possible for us.

The processing of users' personal data is always based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis is also Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR if we receive and process your data as part of a contract-related request via our social media presence. The legal basis for the linking and operation of our company profiles in the social networks, including the receipt of statistics on the use of our company profiles, is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in our corporate communication in the respective social networks.

For information about the respective processing and the respective objection options, please refer to the data protection information of the providers linked below: ‍
